The Centre Connects is a new format for regional networks, where we host all English regions on the same day around a shared theme. This will replace standalone regional networks in England (we will continue to run separate networks for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – colleagues from these countries are welcome to join us for these events).

2024 has been a significant year for HACT, as we focused on supporting the social housing sector through the challenges it faces through meaningful collaborations, practical solutions and innovations across the sector and beyond.
This report presents the findings from a collaborative research project with seven housing associations that set out to understand what community spaces owned and/or managed by housing associations look like in practice and develop an impact measurement framework that enables housing associations to articulate the key benefits of community spaces, take a shared approach to measuring their impact and be able to make well-informed business cases for investment.
