The Community Centres Network is run by the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment. Members of the community centres network mostly come from housing associations, but some network members are from independent community centres or charity sector partners.

I’ve worked in housing and social care for over 16 years. I’ve been at SHG for 11 years, where I have led initiatives focused on employment and skills, financial and digital inclusion, social value and community development. I believe strongly in the value of the community assets that housing providers are custodians of. By working collaboratively and learning from each other’s experience we can maximise the positive impact these spaces have for our tenants and their communities.

I have worked for Clarion Futures for almost 10 years as Community Assets Officer. My role is to identify and support not for profit organisations to manage our 50 or community assets across England. By working in Collaboration with other Housing Associations that have community facilities I feel we can learn from each other on the most effective and successful way to utilise our community assets..
