Peabody signs up to the UK Housing Data Standard

A warm welcome to Peabody, who have signed up to support the development of v3.3 of the UK Housing Data Standard.

“We are very pleased to be joining HACT at a time when the focus on data for housing is even more prominent with the impending changes brought about by the new Building Safety Bill. I have been impressed by the depth of expertise of other members and think that the skills and knowledge present in the group should allow the development of detailed and relevant data standards.”

Richard Ellis

Assistant Director Asset Management at Peabody

Richard continued,

“This will allow housing providers to maximise the opportunities that are arising from the developments in BIM across the construction industry and enable us to harness other technology and software improvements as a sector to drive up data standards and the information required to ensure our buildings are safe.”

Version 3.3 of the UK Housing Data standards focuses on development handovers, while version 3.4 will focus on resident feedback and customer complaints.
