Social Value and Health

The link between health and housing is inextricable, therefore, understanding social value and embedding across strategies, processes and projects is key to maximising impact and demonstrating the value you deliver.

Over the years we’ve worked with hundreds of organisations both from the social housing sector and beyond –  from the NHS and local authorities, to procurement specialists and consultancy experts, we’ve used our wellbeing approach to going above and beyond what is just required, and help embed, measure and demonstrate the full impact across the whole organisation.

Procurement - embedded from start to finish

With new government legislation requiring procurement projects not only consider social value as part of their process but ensure it is at the core of decision-making and recommends that wellbeing measures are also included, then understanding its true value is key.  All contracting authorities need to ensure they consider the following national priority outcomes alongside any local priorities in their procurement activities:

  1. Creating new businesses, new jobs and new skills;
  2. Tackling climate change and reducing waste, and
  3. Improving supplier diversity, innovation and resilience

As pioneers in social value development, we know that embedding social value in your processes from beginning to end can seem daunting – that’s why we’re here to help.

Our procurement tool makes embedding social value easy

The Social Value Insight tool includes a procurement module where you can manage your social value procurement information in one place from start to finish.
