HACT is delighted to announce Illumar as a Launch Pad partner for the implementation of the HACT data standards.
Since 2018 HACT has been working with leading housing associations to create data standards for different aspects of their business practices, from core customer details to service income charging and much in between.
Whilst all the incumbent software services in housing will be operating individual data standards, pulling this data together to form a single version of the truth meeting the HACT data standards is time consuming and often there is no way of assuring the data quality on which such analysis is based.
Illumar’s Housing Data Enterprise data management platform provides a simple, quick way to convert the data from your existing systems into outputs compliant with the HACT UK Housing Data Standards. It will provide a platform from which business intelligence and visualisation tools can be confidently launched and feedback mechanisms for improving the source data quality. The Housing Data Enterprise platform is agnostic to the source systems and will provide automation and confidence to regulatory reports and enabling controlled data sharing across departments and teams.
Peter Luke, Commercial Director at Illumar, said:
“Until now there has been a lag in adopting the standards as the existing deployed operational systems are not natively compliant with the HACT UK Housing Data Standards. Illumar’s Housing Data Enterprise platform offers the prospect of transforming the data in existing systems to the standards in a matter of months. The platform has already been implemented in a number of housing associations and through the LaunchPad programme I am delighted this can now be offered to the wider group of organisations who have been instrumental in developing the HACT standards.”
Michael McLaughlin, Digital Lead at HACT, said:
“HACT have worked with their housing partners to identify and document best practice. Until now the standards developed have required complex integrations or analysis to interpret the source data. We have conducted diligence on the Illumar Housing Data Enterprise platform and are confident this provides a quick and easy way to adopt the best practice and report against Housing Association business specific targets and parameters. We believe this offers a step change in the ability of Housing Associations to adopt the standards and understand their performance.”
