A warm welcome to CHP who have signed up for version 4.0 of the UK Housing Data Standards.
A spokesperson for CHP stated:
“CHP has a strong strategic partnership with HACT and has been delighted to contribute towards the development of version 3.0 of the UK Housing Data Standards. It’s really encouraging to see that more and more housing associations are signing up to establish the basis for future collaboration on data exchange or benchmarking.
This initiative will also assist CHP with our ambition to ensure we have ‘one version of the truth’ irrespective of what systems we extract data from and hopefully allow for greater confidence in and consistency of approach for benchmarking both in or out of sector.
We’re so convinced of the usefulness of the data standards for our sector, that we are actively promoting them with our partners and peers. As an example, we recently included a session on data standards at a national software user group that CHP chairs and at which Chris Lees from OSCRE attended. His presentation ignited a healthy discussion by representatives of the 30+ housing associations that were participating.
We’re looking forward to using our experience of data insight in development handovers and customer complaints to contribute to the development of version 4.0 of the HACT data standards.”
