HouseParty will be a pop-up and entirely unofficial fringe event to the CIH 2014 Housing Conference and Exhibition in Manchester from 24-25 June. It will be a fun-filled, disruptive, participant-led, semi-curated festival and un-conference.
HouseParty aims to challenge, discuss and present the rising talent, organisations, ideas and innovation in UK housing and beyond. It’s a free space to debate, explore, network, connect and innovate. It’s for anyone who cares about where and how we live in the UK to share ideas and create solutions.
Attendance is a 'pay what you can' mentality with free option for those who are bursting with ideas but no budget. Participants will be invited from far and wide, including social entrepreneurs, innovators, policy makers, politicians, journalists, students and young people, architects, visionaries, community groups and Housing Associations, to help shape and contribute to the programme.
We’ll be exploring and embracing social enterprise, new technology, civic innovation, ground-breaking start-ups and community-driven ambition.
Produced by The Social Change Agency, with support from HACT and #HousingCamp, HouseParty is now looking for founding partners, theme sponsors, exhibition bookings and general allies and HouseGuests to come and join the fun.
If you are interested in getting involved or want to find out more about booking tickets, please visit the dedicated HouseParty website www.houseparty2014.org.
Available to all! Dependent on budget availability.
